Now no matter what I do I can not get it to sound like this, I palm mute when i am supposed to. I think it's the strumming pattern is what is getting me. Here is a video so you can listen to it.The part start's at 0.53 second's. Also sorry for the way the tab looks but i can not get it to look like the tab. The palm mute's are supposed to be under the open, 8th an 5th on the B and F# string's. Here is the tab an video.

I would try to help, but that tab is pretty much illegible. Put it in code.

Junior's usually at least a little terse, but he knows his stuff. I've always read his posts in a grouchy grandfather voice, a grouchy grandfather with a huge stiffy for alternate picking.
Besides that, he's right this time. As usual.

I just copied an pasted in an that's how it came out. How do you put it in code.

Type [*code][/*code] without the * and put the tab between the ] and [

No, leave out both stars.

just try and play it like this, if it doesn't soud right, put it through an amp until it sounds simular. while you can try and imitate some artists, it's pretty damn hard to get it competely right

get tuxguitar(free) or get guitarpro and then slow down the parts that your having trouble with. then you will learn the patterns more distinctly and wala good to go =)
