Greetings. Today after I had tuned my Ibanez s420 to E standard with my 009. gauge D'addario strings like I've always done, there was suddenly a weird noise coming from the locking-nut whenever I'd fret th 6th and 7th fret of the A string, G string, 4th and 5th on the B and open E. Any clues as to what this might be?

I guess it can be described as some sort of buzzing noise, however I don't really see how something can buzz, the problem persists even if i remove the locking-pads

Yeah, try raising your action and check the actual frets, see if they're loose or raised. Do a check along the whole string with your eyes and fiddle the bits that should be fixed.
