Hello,

So, me and a few friends are setting up a studio and we've got help from the council to pay for the new gear that we want.

We're basically pulling it apart and revamping it.

We've been given the task of getting it to recording standard by august and have commenced with painting and design while we order some new gear.

I was looking at a drum mic set and found the Shure PGDMK6 set.
Does anyone here have them/has used them/heard of them?

That bundle is alright but it's nothing amazing, it'd be suitable for home recording but not for much else. I have the overheads which aren't too bad but again, I'm just doing home recording. Stay away from bundles imo, you can generally find stuff cheaper individually online .etc

What's your budget?

Ahh right, thanks.

We don't really have a budget as we're using government money, but it'd be nice to keep it as low as possible.
