Need help on what guitar to buy.
I'm looking for a new guitar at a good price that performs well. I'm not exactly rich so I didn't want to pay a huge amount for a guitar. I like to play rock, metal and punk. I play songs from bands like Blink182, Green Day, Metallica, The Vines, All Time Low, Breaking Benjamin, Young Guns and You Me At Six to name a few off the top of my head.

I am not sure what guitar to buy, either;

Epiphone Les Paul Special II
or
Epiphone Les Paul Special II GT

(obviously these aren't considered "great" guitars but i'm on a budget)
Thanks

I would preferably want an epiphone

I'm from UK

My budget is upto £200...i would consider something above that and under £300 if the guitar was worth that kind of money

For that kind of money you could get a Xaviere (GuitarFetish's guitar series), though I'm not sure that the others would recommend them or not, as quality control isn't their forte, but customer service is.

I don't know how much shipping will cost you, though.
Some people use quotations,
Some people are just perverse,
Some people have ironic machinations,
But I'll just break into verse!

Go for a set-neck Les Paul, Studio for example
better hardware and better pups than the special II

or if you want a very versatile guitar, the Nighthawk is worth a try
