Hey.

Basically, I do this week long guitar clinic thing at one of the music schools near where I live every summer for fun and to meet kids to jam with etc. and I don't want to cart my huge 100W amp out haha. I just want something that sounds good and is somewhat louder than my little 10W practice amp that I have now though.

Not looking to spend much more than $50-75 if possible.

Thanks for any help

You might manage to get something like a Peavey Vypyr, which is one of hte more popular practice amps, for that much on Ebay, maybe a 15 or 30 watt one.

Or maybe a Roland Cube.

I second the Vypyr. Honestly, I don't even go past 0 when I'm practicing, it packs more punch than you'd think!

What do you guys think of the Roland Cube 15XL?

I think I might check that one out

just so ya kno, the vypyr sucks and i never had anything but issues with it. fender mustang or g-dec would be the only modeling amp i would reccomend

I have the cube 15x and it is great. You should get it.
Guitars: Fender FSR Standard Strat, Squire Affinity Strat, Epiphone Nighthawk
Amps: Vox AC15C1, Roland Cube 15x, Peavey KB-1
Pedals: Digitech RP355, HD500, Joyo AC-Tone, EHX Soul Food

I'd look for an older Peavey Bandit 112. Compact, tough as nails, tons of them out there and really ballsy for single 12 amp.

I have the Vypyr, and I don't have many issues with it (though it took a month for the speaker to break in). Look to get one used. I can't say anything about the Roland Cube though, sorry.
