Here is a new one i quickly demo'd. I didn't spend as much time on this as i did on my other stuff. Just a quick little record.

I ask that people not comment on the technical aspects of the recording, but rather on the song itself......in other words....do you think the song is any good or not.

Guitars have a bit of the RUSH feel to them. The vocals aren't bad a bit shaky in some parts. Everything sounds real good though I liked it!

I only put one song up so far. We have 4 instrumental versions done but I'll post those later.

Thanks!

The vocals are a bit pitchy in parts but it's a demo so who cares! I feel the song needs something to make it pop, or there needs to be more dynamic range to maintain interest and emphasize certain parts. The chorus could be "heavier" to separate it a bit more for example. The general ideas, chord progressions and melodies are solid, and the solo is very tasteful and well phrased -- well done with that. Most of your "problems" (if you can call them that) could be fixed in the recording/production phase I think. Good work.

Crit mine?

Not much I can say from a guitar point of view, apart from the fact I loved the two distinct guitars coming out of each of my headphones, sounded very cool. I think that the kick drum was used a little too much, especially in the chorus, in my mind I can imagine a simple drum beat for this type of song. Otherwise great work!
No recordings to crit, I do have a set of lyrics in my sig if you're up for that, if not, no big deal!
