Good choice. I was thinking about buying the same one soon.

If you're more experienced, take a look at the Ibanez S420, RG370DXZ and RG350EXZ.

These all have floating trems.

Yes, I think this is a really good metal guitar to buy
But I really recommend ESP guitars. They are really good metal guitars!

Anyway.. you will get a lot of fun with this Ibanez

I'll have to disagree with Metal-pro. I think Ibanez is the way to go! Well besides Jackson but Ibanez beats ESP in my opinion any day

For New Metal guitar in that price range I would go for ESP (LTD) or Schecter.
Especially the Schecter ones have really bang for the buck

If you're looking for tone the guitar doesn't matter much.

It's better to have a good amp and a decent guitar than the other way.

You can play metal with a Strat if you want. so longa s you have a high gain amp/pedal.

You can play squat with a br00tz Ibanez with EMG's if you have an AC30.

i was gonna buy the same, but i found out a deal of an ESP LTD Viper 400, and i love it. so i reccomend GO WITH ESP/LTD (models with emg, cuz i had an EX50 and it was SHIT!)
don't get me wrong thay ibanez is also great! but i would reccomend an ltd with emgs!!!
or go shecter!!! they are having great guitars right now!

Exactly right. but if you absolutey need a good guitar for a good price here is my advice: brand - ESP/Jackson/and Dean if you like ugly headstocks.
Personally I'd get a Jacson dinky with a FR
You like IHOP??? Socialist!!!
