I want to put 81/85's in my Warlock (Tune-o-matic bridge, neck-tru maple & mahogany body) .

Did anyone encountered some problems while putting 81/85's in a (passive equipped) guitar?

The only thing I know of is the need for battery space.

You need to change all the components to run active pickups. Input jack, pots(if you want them to run smooth), and add a battery. The switch is the same.

thank you, but if I'm not mistaken, those are included in the EMG 81/85 set.

Installed that same set in my son's Epi LP. No problems at all. Make sure you use all the components from the kit - all the pots and everything. It will work.

Thank you!

Did you had any problems with fitting the battery?

I don't see any problem at all. You have the guitar, so get a 9v battery and see if it'll fit in the control cavity. Simple as that. Everything else you need to install them comes with the EMGs and it all fits in standard guitar routing.
