Hey guys,

I was searching wich licks and scales that Slash uses, but i can't find anything decent.

So i ask you guys, what is the style of Slash in general?

Just learn some of his solos
The licks are IN the solo

Bluesy Rock.

He uses the minor pentatonic scale alot. Learn that, but also learn his actual solos. Learning the types of scales he uses is part of the picture but on it's own isn't going to make you sound anything like Slash.

I hear ya. The thing is, the inspiration comes from HIM.... not the scales he uses. So working on the scale, or even slash "type" licks isn't going to be nearly as effective as learning one of his solos.

IME, the best source for absorbing a particular style of music is the music itself.

Minor Pentatonics, some chromatics, legato, double stops and power chords.

Thats what i'd say sums him up.
