So I am going out to buy a new guitar a bit later and I went to check if my amp was still in working condition after over a year unused. I plugged it in and turned it on.

There was a hum coming from the amp and I am just wondering if that is anything to worry about or if it is normal. The amp is a Peavey Vypyr 30. no cable/guitar was connected to the amp.
