That does seem a lot for a Gio Ibanez. Especially as the bridge and pickups in it are terrible. You would probably be better to look for one of the similar priced Ibanez's with the ZR2 bridge, I think the new RGA42T's have them (but don't quote me on that)

That website is just rather expensive. Most of the guitars they sell can be found for a lot cheaper elsewhere.

yes i know but its the closest shop to me that has a decent range of guitars, would prefer to try rather than buy online

buy used
for that kind of money you could get a ibanez rg520 which will absolutely destroy that grg.

avoid all of the gio series ibanez
and avoid the shit out of emg hz pickups
