Hey
i'm looking forward in building a stratocaster but i am undecided what to do in terms of electronics.
My first idea was a H-S-H configuration but with an additional switch:

Position 1: Only Humbuckers are active, the Singlecoil is out of the circuit.
5 way switch with Neck - Neck/bridgesplit -Both - Bridge/Necksplit - Bridge

Position 2: Humbuckers both in parallel mode, Singlecoil in switching involved.
5 way switch:
Neck(parallel) - Necksplit/Middle - Middle only - Bridgesplit/Middle - Bridge(parallel)

Is it possible to do such a wiring?
Its to tough for me maybe some of you got ideas

Btw i hate using lots of switches, so maybe some sort of Fender Superswitch????

Thanks in advance!!!

I've seen two humbuckers wired
Pos 1- neck
Pos 2- neck split \ bridge
Pos 3 - both split
Pos 4 - neck \ bridge split
Pos 5 - bridge

So I don't see why your idea wouldn't work.

thanks for the quick answer

yeah i got that in my ibanez Sz with the stock 12pin switch

but combining this with the switching between "REGULAR HUMBUCKER" mode and "SINGLECOIL/SPLIT" mode is kind of a problem :S
