What do you suggest is best for me? I want it to use for practice. I want to use my iPod thru it to play along. I have a big amp for giging.
My newest cover Rivers Of Babylon sublime style.

Go with the cube.
Guitars: Fender FSR Standard Strat, Squire Affinity Strat, Epiphone Nighthawk
Amps: Vox AC15C1, Roland Cube 15x, Peavey KB-1
Pedals: Digitech RP355, HD500, Joyo AC-Tone, EHX Soul Food

Yeah I agree, go with the Roland Cube. I like the Cubes much better than the Mustangs. However, on the contrary I'd pick a Vox Valvetronix modeler over the Roland Cube - Both are pretty nice sounding amps though.
Treble>Epiphone Prophecy EX - MXR micro Amp - MXR Blue Box - MXR Fullbore - MXR Noise Clamp - Vox AD30VT
Bass>Ibanez BTB505 - MXR Blowtorch - MXR D.I. - Peavey MaxBass 700 - Peavey TVX410

Haven't tried the Vox but I hear they're good. I have a Cube and like it quite a bit. It's very powerful and has a natural response and feel which is hard to come by in any solid state it seems. Not sure what you play but if you're into high gain stuff, you may find it to be lacking at best.

Get at least the 30w cube so you have the better models.

Oops, it's for practicing not gigging.

Anyways, the 40xl will be good for practising.
