That game looks boring, plus the music is very repetitive.

Here is a link to a stunning pre-alpha tech demo of a game called "Infinity":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7eREddMjt4

Pretty much creamed myself after watching this. Discuss.

Are we discussing you creaming yourself, or the game?

I think it's quite strange that you almost fapped to a game. But, who am I to judge?

it's not a game, it's just an engine and that video is showing what the pre-alpha version of it can do.

No they don't, and UG is proof...

4 things:

1) That looked fantastic, but I wish I knew what the point of it all was (the game) ...
2) I will never have a computer able to run that like that.
3) Those graphics... mmmmm.... definitely the future of gaming.
4) This was put out over a year ago. Wonder where it's at now!

Wow, imagine a game like Mass Effect where you can do that on every planet. A boy can dream.

That's nice. I like the fact that the asteroids are actually huge and not comparable to the size of the ship.
The content of this signature is pretty much irrelevant

I would love to see the possibility of even getting out of your ship and walking around in cities in the game. Even better would be user-created cities and the possibility of wars between them, or even different planets

Quick research:

this will be a completely sandbox and procedurally generated MMO.

Here's some renders of the different sized ships:

Also, holy hell
Castles made of sand
Fall to the sea

Scale like that in a video game does not seem like it should be possible. This is really a massive achievement.

Yes, because a pre-alpha demo is a very accurate representation of a game's gameplay, and music.

On topic: Looks brilliant, I this being implemented in loads of future games. Really innovative, beautiful stuff.

My god... this looks absolutely mind-blowingly awesome. There's a distinct lack of development updates though

This may make me buy a PC.
