Im now strung with 9 to 42, but the 9 is broken, and no 9 spare. Would an 11 fit it until i get a new 9? ( it wod be strung 11 11 16 24 36 42)

No problem there at all. It won't affect much, and if it did, it wouldn't be a very noticeable effect.

It will feel a little funny due to the difference tension, but other than that you should be fine.

As long as you don't do any wierd tunings with it, because it might snap if you tune too high. Happened to me once and it took a long time to find the string on carpet.

Ya it will work, don't worry about it snapping or any thing, it'll just be really tight, espcially compared to what you are used to, but it'll be fine.
