Ok its good, but ill give more detail. very smoothe playing (both the guitar and drums) but I think it really needs more instruments (particularly a vocal melody) to make it more interesting (though I dont see how it will fit in, but im sure you can work something out).
At the moment it sounds like something that would be in the background of a video game, maybe burnout or something. Or possibly in a film. In other words its something that you would listen to whilst something else is going on, not something you would listen to and JUST listen to. btw I liked the intro to mud dog :p

Both drums and guitar seem great. Realy like the tone of the guitar and the sound of the drums. One thing which was mentioned above, is adding a bass to it. It really needs a good bass line at the back of it. Also at 1:25 I would change the guitar tone a bit so it explodes a bit more (if you know what i mean?) At that point i feel like it should explode, where as at the moment it dies down. I think just simply changing the tone a bit will help that... maybe more treble/distortion sort of thing.

ok weorge, not really my style on "the drifter". a little too indie for me. i did like your use of reverb though for the spacey feeling. the music and lyrics complimented that well. everything was mixed well and i thought you had a pretty cool guitar tone for what you were trying to do. cheers

well darren, first off PUT ON SOME PANTS! your short little musical interludes were pretty cool. what limited production there was could be a little better, but all in all good stuff. to me, the guitars were too "in your face". for these songs, its not bad but when it comes to longer songs, reverb is your friend. it creates the illusion of space between your ears and the music and cuts down on "ear fatigue". the guitar tone was ok, but i think it could have been tightened up a bit. as far a the composition of the songs, i thought they were done really well. keep it up! thanks for the crit.

You got some great riffs and drumming going on on the first two tracks.( Mud Dog and One Man Army)
I would suggest increasing the speed on One Man Army just a CH . Others have mentioned adding some bass which is needed badly on some parts. Even if you dont have a bass you can still throw down some bass lines with your guitar if you EQ right. Keep it up bro.

With some bass, this'd be a real solid track.. the guitaring is nice, though the rhythm tone is kinda thin.

The melodies are nice though, the drumming is clear, perhaps a little too loud in the mix though, the rhythm guitar gets drowned out by it.

The outro is nice, it's way too long for how repetitive it is though, needs some vocals and bass to mix it up a bit and flesh out the sound.

sorry for the late reply, but thanks for listening to my track "one man army". if i HAD a bass guitar, id love to add it.

as for your track "trashed" i thought it was solid as well. i was listening to it on computer speakers, so the bass didnt sound too bad from what i could tell. the song itself was great. its nice to see there are young bands who arent all about "how much gain can i get". the arrangement and melodies were really cool.

I love the guitar sounds like it's on the edge of falling out of rythm but it never does!
Great song idea man, a lot of cool riffs in One Man Army man!

Pretty much like everyone before said, add some heavy bass, I think that distoted bass would add a lot to it!

Or even a synth bass pumping 16th notes!

Without vocals, it's a bit too long and too unexciting to work. You know what would be great, a slide melody somewhere in it!

Sounds pretty cool. It's lacking punch though for me, and seems there is no bass guitar. I like the tempo and feel of the song though, seems like it should be a kick you in the face kinda song.

This is what I'd do, add a bass guitar, compress the heck out of your guitars, with a quick attack time, and a medium release time. Compress the bass the same way. Try to track it a tad bit tighter, it's a bit loose on the faster parts.
