go with a Blackheart Little Giant combo, then get a 10-uator for it. Awesome clean and crunch with the Blackheart. If it is between the Vox and the Bugera, go Bugera unless you are going to go to the Vox Lil' Nighttrain or whatever it is called. I don't like the AC4tv because it doesn't seem like you have enough control over the tone. Otherwise, Vox's solid states, VT series and larger tube amps are the bomb.

Also, the Bugera V5 was actually designed for classic rock and the AC4TV was designed so Vox would have a small tube amp to compete with other small tube amps.

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album

I've had a V5 for several months now as a bedroom amp. I like it. It's not super versatile by itself but it takes pedals great. I play a lot of blues and a lot of stoner rock/groove rock through it and it sounds great. .1 watts doesn't sound great but 1 watt sounds really good. 5 watts sounds awesome. Good enough that I would record with it and use it on gigs mic'd. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

i pimp this amp all the time. i should cool it before people start thinking i would for bugera.

with a tad bit more or maybe not even you could pick up a used blues junior or pro junior. But the Vox is still really nice and cheaper to. Marshall class 5 and the special 6 are still options used aswell. Really they are all very different and you should give them all a try.

What do mean the Special 6 is a option used? You can pick up the combo all day long for under $300, and the head for under $200...

Just adding two cents, if you know how to use the tone/volume controls on you guitar, the AC4TV can be a fantastic amp. I've "moved up" to different amps with more knobs/switches/etc, and I'm finding myself missing the AC4TV more and more.

I jammed with our bassists AC4TV last weekend - just me, lead and my SG and it was great - plenty of scope for tonal changes and nuances so long as you are aware of what them funny looking dials and switches they be building into these modern-fangled geetahs.
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

So what was the pic?

I feel like a small child missing out on cake and jelly at a birthday party.
Which is odd, being 6'6" and in need of nicotine...

damn hard pedalboard porn xD

i'd go for the bugera out of the bugera v5 and the vox ac4tv.
but you should seriously consider the vox lil' night train, it lacks the reverb of the bugera but it looks seriously bad ass and you'd have real quality as for bugera people tend to say it's hit or miss. dont burn me down on it i dont own a bugera, neigther have i tried one, neigther have i met people who have/had one so this is purely what i have read on the interwebz.

The Vox Lil Night Train is badass, I use it as my recording amp.
