What do we have here? Looks like the "Big Brown Truck" dropped off a package.

What could possibly be inside there? Is that really a guitar case? Let's open it up and take a look.

I need to get up a bit closer so I can get a better look at this.

Maybe just a bit closer.

Let's give it a strum! OMFG! The sustain on this baby is killing me. First time I've ever played the 2-piece PRS bridge, the intonation was perfectly set - just as it should be. These 57/08 pickups are hotter than the ones in my original 57/08, so it's a perfect match for classic rock and blues. The new pattern neck plays effortlessly. The action is as good as it gets. Love the East Indian Rosewood fretboard, nice and dark - just the way I like it. The inlays on this one just may be the best I've ever seen, still need to get some close-up shots. And the new V12 finish is amazing, this baby loves to change colors just like a chameleon! Not sure if it's due to the thin finish, but this may be the most acoustic solid body I've ever played. I love that this one has locking tuners on it. Tune once and forget about it. Weighs in at 8 lbs. 13 oz, just right - not too light, not too heavy. Did I mention the sustain? Some guitars seem to play themselves, this one does just that. If only I could take this with me on vacation. Oh well, it will be waiting for me!! Sound clips to come.

I personally don't care for the look of the bridge and tailpiece but other than that, that is one fine guitar. Guitar Player recently did a review on this model and they couldn't say enough good things about it! The new PUs relly impressed them as well.
Happy New Guitar Day!
Moving on.....

Is it yours? Did you restore it?

No, it belongs to my father. Fully restored. Not a Trailer Princess. Runs perfectly.

Ive never been so overcome with jealousy at one time. Not only is that guitar epic, but so is your '36 packard!

good choice on cars and guitars!

I didn't know they made PRS guitars with neck binding! Honestly, that's the only thing I've ever disliked about them... classy in every way, but NO NECK BINDING!!

Anyways, HNGD!!!

Exactly this. I don't like how they look.. Otherwise it's a good looking guitar, though I'm not one for LP shapes/single cutaways

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.

I was looking at the car more, haha. But I think I was most impressed with quality of the images, my god.

As for the guitar, pretty cool color, never like PRS single cuts though.

As much as I love ESP over any other company, I'll be the first to admit that no other maker out there can touch the finishes on PRS guitars. SO. SEXY.

Also, what camera are you using? As said before, quality is just amazing!
