is it just me, or is this guy really underrated? in my eyes, he's one of the greatest guitarists, and he's pretty much the first one to play neo-classical guitar as far as I know, yet I don't hear many people talking about him.

I've only listened to his rendition of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, but I absolutely love it. He's one of my favorites just because of that Metamorphosis album.

No he wasn't.

Uli IS underrated though. Listening to Early Scorpions(72-78) is evidence to that.

Ritchie Blackmore was doing the classical thing before uli was well known. uli is a big fav of mine especially his scorpions stuff. his more recent material can get a little out there but his guitar playing is still first rate.
