Hiya,

Planning on re-finishing an SG special I picked up recently, Been looking at various different options, and tutorials.

There is one particular finish I'm curious about though, Black Pearl, as seen on Steve Lukathers signature Musicman.

Has anyone got any links/project logs or tut's on this?

Cheers,
Mick.

Its a glittery black surface, its not actually white dots. I'll try find a couple better pictures.

Couldn't find an exact match for what I wanted, but I did manage to pick up some Pearlescent black from a store today, along with some clear laquer.

I'm going to be testing it out on a cheapy Epiphone SG I picked up recently, so we'll see how it goes. Cheers for the help guys!

My cheapo 'Crafter Cruiser' has that paint job. Looks like its been painted black then coated in clear paint with glitter inside.
