Hi everybody.

I'm about to buy me an attenuator for my Marshall HW1959 100 watt with 1960AHW cabinet, cause its to darn loud if i want to get the great marshall sound.
I was thinking about getting the Koch Loadbox, the problem is that im kond of a newbie with attenuators, so my question is actually more like a comfirmation of my own thinking. Aren't you supposed to match the speaker/cabinet ohm rating with the attenuator. That is in my case: HW1959 set to 16 ohms - Koch Loadbox 16 ohm version - 1960AHW wich is also 16 ohm.

Thank you in advance.
