Okay so we have our 'ONLY cooking' thread.

This is for all us younger people and students. What amazing desirable meals have you come up with when you have just scraped the cupboards or just put food stuffs together that shouldn't normally be side by side and came up with an amazing recipe.

I'll start:

Make a basic chilli, Consisting of mince, onions, (I prefer loads of mushrooms too), your choice of spices and tons of chillies I use habenero put thats all down too your heat tolerance.

Get a large deep dish and set a large layer of Doritos down (Preferably Chilli heatwave flavour but most varieties will do.

Add your chilli mix, cover with tons of cheddar cheese and set in medium heat oven for about 20 mins

When melted and delicious looking finish with a layer of Creme Fresh and dust with paprika.

Great to share with large groups.

Share your munchie recipes pit !!

This is the most brilliant thing I ever came up with when I was stuck at 6th form for late nights without anything to do:

1 packet of Super noodles (chicken)
1 bag of shredded cheese.

Make Super noodles. Add similar volume of melted cheese. Stir.
Ta-da!
Let your tastebuds orgasm everywhere.

I plan on becoming a fine chef with this level of gourmet food preperation.
There's a good chance that what I've written above is useless and if you take any of the advice it's your own fault.

Cheesy Breadsticks sticks recipe (will last you for a while, depending on how much you make)

What you need:

- 1 or more loaves of bakery bread (French, Italian, Ciabatta)
- 1 to 2 packages of Mozzarella cheese (or another variety that goes on pizza)
- 1 jar or more (depending on how much you make) of Marinara sauce

Directions:
- Cut loaf of bread in half separating the top from the bottom, lengthwise.
- Take the cheese and layer it on the cut sides of the bread, adding however much you'd like to taste. After this, place the now cheese covered halves in the freezer.
- Take the halves out when completely frozen.
- Using a bread knife, cut the cheese bread into about 1 inch/ 4 centimeter thick sticks.

Now that you have cheesy bread sticks all ready to go, you can either put them back in the freezer to save them for a later date and serve with the sauce for dipping, or put them in the oven to cook for consumption. If you don't have experience with an oven, turn it to 400 degrees and start off at 5 minutes for cooking time. If they don't appear to be cooked, just keep adding 2 minutes on to the time, checking in these inervals until they appear done.

You can make this with multiple loaves at once so you have a quick snack/ meal ready at any time!

I've not tried this yet however im thinking get two if those chicago town deep dish pizzas, two burgers and a **** load of cheese, cook the burgers put the cheese in between and then cook the pizzas and use them as a bun, heart attack in one bite quite probably but i imagine it'd be worth it

If you get two of those and just stick one on top of each other makes a perfect pizza sandwich.

Carbonara is incredibly easy to make:

1: Put boiling water into a saucepan of pasta.

2: Cut up some mushrooms, then some bacon, i usually use 3 mushrooms and 2 rashers of bacon, but it is up to you.

3: Once the pasta is on its way to being done, start frying the bacon, followed by the mushrooms, as mushrooms cook a bit quicker.

4: Mix cream (double or single is fine) with grated cheese in a bowl.

5: Once the pasta and the other stuff is done, mix it all together and add the sauce, then cook for a few minutes.

6: Put in bowl then done.
WHOMP

Think of that next time you are not allowed to laugh.

Tzatziki, a lovely dip consisting mostly of yogurt, garlic and cucumber. Great on bread/toast (especially naan/pita or a crunchy loaf) and as a complementary sauce to many meals.

Is it bad that I'm feeling that this is exactly the same as the cooking thread?

I can't cook for nuts. Maybe instant noodles, but that's it.

I prefer to just eat junk food, bread and fruits when studying.

I'll take homemade nachos over "real" nachos anyday.

One of my favorite late night snacks is basically just taking a bag of tortilla chips and pouring them on a plate and sprinkling shredded cheddar/mozzarella cheese all over them and microwaving it.

Beats the official nacho cheese sauce any day

I got this off a tumblr post, but it was so amazingly good when it was done.

4 Tablespoons of self rising flour
4 Tablespoons of granulated sugar
4 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
4 Tablespoons of Nutella
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons of Milk
3 Tablespoons of Vegetable/Olive oil.

1. Put all of that into a rather large coffee mug and mix it very well with a fork or whatever you choose.
2. Put into microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 3 minutes.
3. Enjoy the most amazing tasting thing ever. Add whipped cream, put in fridge to cool, whatever you want

^ I haven't tasted something so rich and chocolate-y in awhile
This is my signature... And yes this is the most original thing... ever.
