I want a moderately affordable amp that has a good clean sound and takes pedals really well. I don't want any modeling technology or extra stuff, I'll use my own pedals for effects. It has to be able to get pretty loud, preferably over 15 watts. I play garage/indie rock. Budget's $200-$600.

Here's what I've got so far.

Fender Frontman 212R
Vox AC15

used peavey classic 30, Blues junior, pro junior, AC 15. I own a 212R. The cleans are decent but the distortion is majorly harsh. It does not take pedals that well either if thats what you plan on doing. They are just a bitch to lug around to. Uber heavy and all that wattage is really not needed.
