Has anybody ever tried or even heard of this. Filling the round sound hole with a piece of wood, and cutting f-holes?

I have seen a 12 string that was manufactured like this. I forget the brand, but it sounded great.

Well my acoustic is pretty thin, thinner than a traditional acoustic. So it wouldn't look completely ridiculous. Maybe when I get some free time and a throwaround acoustic I'll try it.

Like the one Paul Gilbert used for Wild World. Funny, I just watched the video for that for the first time in more than twelve years and then I come here to see someone ask for a guitar like that. Fate dictates that the TS must go for it!
