The title is a bit vague, and I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place to ask this, but, I was wondering if anyone knows what sorta scale, or what kind of technique Andy James is using in this video at around 1:20
Its a strange, out of place thing. If anyone could just let me know what mode or scale he's playing, that would be really helpful. Thanks.

Its not what you play that counts. Its how much noise you can make with it!

Thanks. But I don't get the difference between the natural minor scale and the harmonic minor. Could you explain that to me?

I can write a coherent tune ... But 3/4? I play rock, not polka.
