I currently have the option to buy one of these cabs
Mig 50 - 300$+ shipping (I live in Quebec, so around 100$ total) = 400$
Mig 60 - 500$ Shipped

The mig 50 is known to be a 59 bassman clone, early plexi clone
The mig 60 is said to be a JCM800 knockoff, but 80% of the ppl call it a plexi clone too.

Mig 60 looks cheaper, with the orange plastic switches and everything.

Wich one should I go for?
I am looking for a raw sound that takes a germanium fuzz (hendrix tone)

I'd need the advice of somebody who owned 1 or 2 of them, to compare em

Thanks

I will either get a 1x12 Avatar or Egnater G12H-30 or 2x12 Avatar Vintage 30's

well from my limited mig knowledge i'd say the 50 is more up your alley. it'll be a slightly better clean platform for fuzz pedals, but can also be cranked for some nice breakup. i've never played a 50 or 60 so i can't comment on the plexi/jcm comparisons and amounts of gain/headroom. but just going by things i've read the 50 would be better for YOUR purpose. any chance you could try them? that would be ideal.

IIRC neither has a master volume so itll be balls loud before it breaks up.

Im certain one of the versions has one.
I will be able to play on the mig 60 tonight, not the 50 tho.

My only concern is the quality of these amps, I've heard that some of them might blow up anytime. Thats why im not sure yet if i'll just pick up one Egnater Tweaker
