We Have Issues

We humans
We have issues
Tiny little issues
Some that make us
Some that break us
Yours are bigger
But they’re still small
If only we
Could see it all
We wouldn’t always
Have to ask
Why
We have all these issues
Because they’re everywhere
They’re every where
They’re in your hair
It’s hard to bare
But wait a second
Why should you care?
We have bigger things
Much bigger things
To worry our little heads about
Things that hurt us
Things that kill us
Things like the 88 drought
We hunt each other
Beside our brothers
We fight the wars
To protect our mothers
They told you this
And I’ll tell you still
This urge to kill
It will never be filled
What can you do for the ones who are broken
****ed up, shattered with words unspoken
They have nothing left
Except those issues
Tiny little issues
Some that make us
Some that break us
Yours are bigger
But they’re still small
If only we
Could see it all
We might have a chance
But I won’t hold my breathe
I personally think
It will end with our death
But hey, who knows?
Guess we’ll see how it goes
