I just made some Ramen, and while I was eating it, my sister saw it and said I made it wrong.

I usually boil the ramen and then add the mix, stir, the drain it. Is that not how most people do it?

Do you eat it soupy or drained?

How do you guys make your Ramen?

I usually just stick some boiling water in a pan (**** waiting for it to boil on the hob, kettle's where it's at), jam the noodles in, wait for them to soften for a bit, put the sachet contents in, wait, drain, eat.

I'll often leave a bit of the "broth" in to keep it from going too dry and stale feeling.

I do it that way. Ramen in pot, fill with water, boil, add packet, serve.
Please excuse my godawful username. I was thirteen.

I wait for the water to boil, and throw the Ramen and the flavoring in. After I separate the noodles, I put some canned chicken in. I stir it up a little, and I let it boil for a minute or two. Then I pour it into the bowl and pour peas into it.

Ramen in pot, add hot water, stir, sieve, add flavour.

I don't know wtf you guys are doing, but that's how it's supposed to be done. Unless ofcourse you want it like a soup.

edit: Just saw the picture in the OP. That's not the brand I usually have and mine is not soup.

I can't eat stand ramen and opt for chow mein instead. With that, I boil/drain the noodles, throw 'em in a pan, crack two eggs on top of them, and stir-fry them.

Drain, after. Otherwise all the flavour is gone.

Depends if you're going for noodles or noodle soup.
I always strain then add the flavour. Not a fan of noodle soup.

boil water, noodles (leave the mix out), drain, use fresh hot water with drained noodles and the mix. Try it!

I usually follow the instructions on the back.
If I'm feeling adventurous, I will put in some vegetables and meat just before I add the powder mix. I don't drain it even though it is unhealthy to drink the broth.
