I own one of these, are they regarded as any good? I know it can be a bit hit and miss with LP studio's, I think it rocks!

I think it rocks!

then, that's all that matters

if you like it, why would you care whether it is 'regarded' as a good guitar or not?
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Yeah It's a pretty good guitar and yes they can be hit or miss lately, but most models up into @2003 were really nice. I had a 2000 Studio, that I bought a MARS Music, honestly All of the Gibson LP Studios I played there were really nice. However I find that more recent Studios, don't seem to be as good quality off the shelf.
But like stated above your the one that it matters to.
