Verse

*song is soft spoken.

Intro

1...2...1...2...3..4

Verse

The music scene has become*
an atrocity.

Whatever happened to artistry
before imagery?

Whatever happened to thought*
before look?

Why can't we just set music free?

Chorus

Looks as if I'll just have to*
continue wishing and waiting.

Wishing for music to change.

But, wishing doesn't work on
everything.*

It's time we all take hands
* and we make a stand.

Verse

The music scene has become*
an atrocity.

Whatever happened to artistry
before imagery?

Whatever happened to thought*
before look?

Why can't we just set music
free?

Tell me if you like it or not? Im aiming for it to sound slowish/hippish. Edit as willing

I still like the idea, but I don't know about repeating the verse. If you really like that part and want to use it more than once you might as well make it the chorus. Also you might want to add more verses, it seems like unless you have a ridiculously long solo it would go to fast. Is it played acoustic or electric?

This is played on acoustic kinda nevershoutnever sounding. But, you can write your verses different? Thought they stayed the same?
#5
No, the chorus stays the same. You can repeat a particular verse if it has a significant effect, but normally you only use the verse once. I don't know much nevershoutnever music, but it seems like it would work as a kind of Bob Dylan sounding song, if you speak the verse and sing the chorus.

you should change the second verse--was it meant to be that same lyrics as the first ?
