Hey fellow musicians (:

Just a quick question on some TOOL bass !

1. If you had to choose one TOOL song on bass that was impressive yet reasonably simple to play for an assessment, which TOOL song would that be, considering that you could only use delay as an effect?

As a former bass player, Schism is ridiculously easy to play. Just have to remember that it has a . . . strange time signature (a guitar magazine I read once said it was in faux 3/4 timing, but is actually 4/4, while other sources says it changes timing throughout). It's not a big deal though.

Oh, and for resonance just play unplugged and see if it's loud. And smack an open A chord and hold the body and see if it vibrates like a middle-aged woman's best friend.

Disposition is fun if you've only got delay.

I know how to play a crapload of Tool, the hard part is not having a single pedal to play with (besides the chorus function on my amp) and not having his tone

That being said, Intension is a nice song if you can pull it off. Forty Six and Two is great too.
