Wrote this song for this girl I like. No biggie. G to Cadd9 in the verses, C D G for the chorus. As always, C4C

"Outdoorsy Princess"

You like to go out kayak,
Often the forest floor is your bed,
And you really like to backpack,
And you've got my beret on your head.
When the snow falls, you like to snowboard.
Out at SnowStar, teach people to ski.
When you come in for a break and hot chocolate,
Do you ever wish you were with me?

Look at you, my outdoorsy princess,
You're happy in the sun or the snow,
Look at you, my outdoorsy princess, yeah,
What's behind those brown eyes, I'll never know.

You always like to hang out at parks, yeah
To the drive-in, you like to go.
Airplane shows just blow your mind, yeah,
And so does Tropical Sno.
Remember our bench, down by the river,
You looked so cute sitting there in your dress,
Touch of your lips, it gave me a shiver,
I'll be your knight if you're in distress

Look at you, my outdoorsy princess,
You're happy in the sun or the snow,
Look at you, my outdoorsy princess, yeah,
What's behind those brown eyes, I'll never know.

PLease dont sing this to a girl, please please please dont do it!

THis is a solid song, with a good structure. However, it's extremely literal, massively cliche and is extremely cheesy.

It would probably be cringe worthy for the girl im afraid.

Try and be alot less obvious in future and you'll go far.

Sorry :S

Ha ha I wrote a different one for a park ranger. This is the "family friendly" version that I'm playing at a campfire tonight. Wouldn't play it for her by any means ha ha but the park ranger one is better. I'll post it later... it's funny.

I'd have to agree with everyone else, your better off not singing this to a girl. I liked the chord progression for the chorus though. I would calm it down describing everything the person does, it makes it seem stalker-ish. The flow's good!
