Any time Barcelona beats Real Madrid. Been quite a few times the last 5 years.
Or Villa's goal against Man United now to 3-1.

I somehow got a porn channel on my TV one night when I was in middle school.

I have porn 24/7 on my tv. But I'm also an adult.

The only thing that comes to mind is when Zidane headbutted that other dude during the match. Cool stuff. Oh, and when some NBA players went up to the stands and starting beating the shit out of one of the guys in the audience and a whole riot started.

It took me 5 minutes to figure out what I just saw.

That was awesome!

And keeping with the football theme, I gotta go with this.

Oh damn. I remember. I saw when Antonio Puerta of Sevilla (football) fell down and had a heart attack on the field. He died a few days later. I saw that live on tv.

This. It still touches me.

And that was not amazing. More like. Shocking and saddening. Slightly off topic I guess. Sorry.

Not many things have left an impression.

Donovan scoring that winning goal against Algeria in the World Cup last year (leading to the US winning their group for the first time in about a billion years) was pretty awesome. I was jumping up and down and screaming. haha

Where was the goalie?

He was pulled. When teams are down a goal late in the game, they'll pull the goalie for an extra skater to try and tie the game.

Yeah, like you saw that live.

For those who don't know...

Holy shit!

Anyway, I think the Obama inauguration was pretty special. Another one that sticks in my mind was the September 11 attacks. Being on the other side of the world, I didn't see it until several hours after it happened, but waking up in the morning and seeing that really left an impression.

On a lighter note, if there are any Aussies here (particularly Queenslanders), Wednesday's State of Origin decider was pretty awesome.

DON'T MAKE ME DESTROY YOU!

This series re-ignited some of that old Origin fire I thought. That Queensland team blow your mind every time you watch them.
Oh flange.

Obama being elected was cool. I also remember when that space shuttle blew up about 8-9 years ago. The Giants beating the Patriots in the Super Bowl was incredible, and that's coming from an Eagles fan.
My whole family hates the Giants, but we were jumping up and down screaming because it was so cool. I guess that shows how much the Patriots were hated that year.

While not amazing to most people in here, my favorite TV moment without a doubt was when the Phillies won the World Series.

Jackal saw a politician shoot himself on TV. Can't top that boys.
I saw that too.

^ You're that old?

EDIT: Checked profile, we can't be talking about the same guy since the politician Jackal saw died in the 80's. The Challenger explosion would probably have been pretty intense to see too.

The only things I witnessed live on TV was the second plane hitting the WTC, Obama's inauguration, and his speech announcing the death of bin Laden.

Not many people are interested in an early season Piston - Pacer game. But if you say you did, I believe you.

I'm from Indy, so I never stopped ****ing hearing about it. I remember my dad calling me into the room to watch it happen because it was pretty WTF at the time.

**** the Pistons and **** the Pacers, though. The Pistons were shit and the Pacers are just a bunch of thugs, at least once Reggie left.
