Hi.

I never used ANY kind of analog amp/stuff... I always used digital.

So my ears aren't good to tell the difference.

That's why I'm posting an audio sample so you guys can tell me if it sounds too "digital".

My guitar goes straight to my usb interface (Line 6 UX2). Then I use some free plugins, and record using a DAW.

Recorded using a backing track.

(You don't have to download, you can listen on the site)

Thanks

It doesnt sound overwhelmingly digital, but there is a fizzyness that comes with using amp-sims that is unavoidable. The sound is good though. What plugin did you use?

As JWG noted the fret/string noise you hear is really the main identifier. I use Guitarport and Guitar Rig and have the same issues. Noise Reduction cuts it down a lot but ends up destroying the overall tone.

...btw, nice cover.

It does happen, but it's way more evident in digital. I fight it all the time lol.
