Hey,

I thought this thread would be useful as I've seen a few posts recently regarding the routing of a S/S/S strat, so whilst changing my scratch plate i thought i'd take some shots for the good people of UG.

Also ive seen a few threads else where about what a black scratch plate will look like on this color so here it is.

Down the neck shot

The routing is H/S/H and it also has a cool little route for what looks like a killswitch or other pot just to the left.

Old plate

New plate

This strat is from 2010 btw so its just a guess that the new ones will be H/s/H as well.

Hope this helps some people and let me know what you think of the black plate?

That little pot you said was for a killswitch is a mark left from where they hold to paint it or something rather bland like that

I like the black scratch plate!

EDIT: The holes are made to help guide the machine that cuts the bodies. Thanks Google!

Ahh right Lil Macker, I didn't know that, it still looks like it could be used for an additional switch/pot though?
