So I am expecting many "against"'s rather than "for" for Little Britain in this thread, but do you guys like this?

I have always liked LB ever since series 2 was on the TV. Also, I have watched the first three series way too many times to count, and I did it again recently, after getting the box set (series 1-3). I want to watch the other series again soon. I am working through all of the deleted scenes and extras and whatnot on all 3 of the series at the minute.

For those that do like it (or used to), what characters do/did you like?

I like (obligatory) Lou and Andy, Sebastian/Prime Minister (awesome), Emily Howard, Marjorie Dawes (Fat Fighters) and Mr. Mann (the guy in the shop) perhaps the most.

What about you guys?

It was funny to start.

Best thing to come from it was me visiting Llandewi Brefi and discovering the New Inn pub and their amazing gammon.

it was funny but it got very repetitive. that being said i saw them live and they were terrific

i liked it until they brought in characters like that woman who just pissed herself all the time or the one who threw up if she ate anything by a foreigner or something. nothing funny about that, especially when it's repeated every episode for the entire series

I watch it whenever it's on iPlayer.

I like:

- That wheelchair guy. I feel sorry for his carer though!
- The Prime Minister and his gay assistant.
- Anne. EH EH EEHHHH!
- Vicky Pollard. Funniest chav ever.
- Fat ugly naked woman!
- That man-lady.

The fat fighters thing isn't that funny, I never understood the small guy who likes writing theme tunes and the "only gay in the village" is just annoying!

Mr Mann is the best part of Little Britain. If you disagree, I will fight you.

It doesn't come anywhere near the old stuff (Monty Python, Blackadder, etc.), but it's quite enjoyable.

It was pretty funny for a while then became overkill when Walliams was on EVERY other show Every other week. I think he's funny to a certain extent but too much of him really grinds on you.

2006 Big Fat Quiz of the Year is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen. Walliams getting all uppity at Noel Fielding and Russell Brand was just awesome. I still watch it on YouTube from time to time. Always makes me laugh.

Like every catchphrase-based comedy it soon got old.

For what it's worth, That Mitchell and Webb Look is a much better sketch comedy show.

I don't believe I've ever laughed so hard from a single television program. Marathoning it made me extremely sore from laughing like a madman throughout.

I love the snooker commentators in series 1.

The smug brain surgeon sketch, David Mitchell's chiropractor and the party planners are some of my favourite sketches from any show ever.

Also, the Armando Ianucci Shows and Paul Merton: The Series are incredibly underrated sketch shows.

It's got to be the only good show ever to rely on catchphrases.

EDIT: 'cept this one.

First season was funny. The rest was rubbish.

Ray McClooney, the bonkers scottish hotel owner. Funniest character by far. Why did they get rid of him?
I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

It's because he's a piss-take of a guy who used to be in a show called Minder and he sang the theme tune for that show.

I forgot all about Anne.

I isagree about the fat naked women and the fat fighters. I'd put fat fighters on the like list and remove the old hags.

It got very repetitive. Initially the skits weve excellent but after rehashing them over and over again, it loses its bang.

I love the Prime Minister skits though.

it sucks. it relies on shock gags which have absolutely nothing behind them and stupid catchphrases.
#40
It had some good bits, by the end it was past it though.
