Yup that's it, called "The Steal".

I'm pretty happy with the production and all on it, the vocals are still scratch vocals though because it was part of my "7 Days" project where I'm writing, recording and producing a new song each week for 6 months (and I got sick during that week so couldn't do the proper ones). Never the less, they get the job don.e

What are your thoughts? I'll do C4C of course. Also sub if you like the song or the challenge as a whole

I liked it, I know what I personally would do to it to rework/remix it. I could craft this into something special.... if i had the time... the money... the software..... the patience..... awwww **** it back to eating cheetos and scratching my balls.

Hi,

I really like your voice :-)

the only thing i would like to point out is, that the backing track sounds a little bit empty ....
But other then that it sounded really good too me. With a better backing track this would really sound pro !!!

keep up the good work !

Cheers mate,

Thanks for that, will keep it in mind. The idea behind the song was to be kinda empty but maybe could still have thickened it up a bit more? Glad you liked my voice. Sick solo btw, I left C4C on your thread

First of all- I LOVED the vocals and lyrics. No flaws here.

Synth sounds and guitars were ok, could have had more guitar parts overall though.

I didn't really like drums. It seems like you never used a snare "properly" and over-used bass drum(which was WAY too loud).

If you wrote and recoreded this track in 7 days then I am really impressed, good job. I'd add this song to my usual playlist if it had better drums, good job.

Sounds great man, really digging the vocals, you have a solid falsetto too. Only complaint would be the drums sound a little robotic, especially the hi hat for some reason. And the production isn't perfect, but i can point out exactly what's wrong.

Thanks man, will keep it in mind. The robotic/synthetic drums were intended, but perhaps could be filled out more? Just left C4C

Thanks will keep all that in mind dude. I figure most songs (and most of my songs too) have pretty normal sounding drums, so I liked that it had a different snare and I guess i'm just a sucker for phat ass kicks (although maybe it was disproportionately loud? When I was mixing it it certainly felt louder and phatter than kicks in most songs, but the idea was to compensate for the relative emptiness of this track). Will keep all you said in mind for next time, thanks

          C4C done .
