When my dad was 19(over 30 years ago) he had a Red Gibson semi-hollowbody (gibson 335 or such) he bought for $75 with gold pickups, bridge, ect. and block inlays. He lost it when he moved to New York and I was wondering if I could find the model, because it sounds like a kickass guitar.

They're not going to be making that exact model with those specs anymore...

You'd be able to find a vintage one though. Have a look at some of the early-mid 60's ES-335s

If it had gold hardware and block inlays, it was probably an ES-355:



Not all ES-355s had a Bigsby or a Gibson Lyre tremolo, but most of them did.
