Sup people, have a small issue with my JCA20H here. I was just going to ask for help in the fat guys thread but I can't open the thread for some reason.

The standby switch is acting wonky. The amp sounds fine, the tubes appear to be okay, none of the pots are cracklin, its just that when ever I switch the standby on or off I get a loud ass crackling noise. It makes me angry since I just bought this thing like two months ago and my old one lasted nearly a year with no issues at all and then I sold it. Karma I guess.

UG has had some issues today so just be patient.

As far as your issue Jimmy, it may be something like a cold solder joint or loose wire at the insert jack. If it really bothers you, then exercise your warranty and get a new one.

That's what I was thinking, and outside of that the LED would go dim occasionally too. Guess I'll have to call GC/JCA then
