"Sometimes I use the pedal through the AUX input of the Cube (so the Cube is only a speaker for RP355) because the Cube is a digital amp and it doesn’t like pedals."

I found that in a review of the rp355 here on UG. Is that possible? Wouldn't that damage the unit or the amp? Or if it works, would it sound better than plugging the unit via guitar cable into the amp? Has anyone tried that?

Put the cube on Clean tone, put all effects off.
Set tone/gain to 12 o'clock.
Should be fine!
My friend plugged his into my cube, no problem at all.

But make sure it's on clean tone.

i posted this on the other thread you made and here it is again:
it makes the signal of the RP355 go through the amp untouched.
it is perfectly fine to do, and some prefer this method.

instead of running it through the amp's circuitry, the AUX goes straight to the speaker.

think of it this way:
look at the sun with sunglasses on (through the amp)- its going to color your vision (dirty the signal)
or look at the sun with your bare eyes (AUX input) - you see what is really there, no change in color (tone)

And smack an open A chord and hold the body and see if it vibrates like a middle-aged woman's best friend.

Okay, that part about "digital" amps not liking pedals is nonsensical.

But plugging an RP into the aux input to bypass the amp tone? Not a bad idea; it won't hurt to try.

hey bud

i see you've got the exact same thread going over in Electric Guitar. Don't do that man, it is against the rules. You are not allowed to have the exact same thread open in multiple forums. maybe ask a mod to close one before they both get closed and you get a warning

I asked a mod to close the one over in electric guitar. Yeah, I should of had them move it before making a new one. Sorry.

It didnt work. There was no sound coming from the amp.

Okay, this is how I made the connections. Guitar-cable-rp355-aux cable-cube 15x. Did I do it right?
So can someone please tell me how connect it that way?
