Basically I've been watching A LOT of BBC programmes and it got me wondoring, is the BBC popular in other countries? (not the UK). Anyone here watch it? if so what sort of programmes? cheers
#2
I've seen a few badly dubbed BBC prgrams in other countries before, not sure about their popularity though. I get the impression Top Gear's big err-damn-where.
#3
I do and I'm in Finland, but I'm English and watch it illegally on iPlayer

The show that's on here most is Come Dine with Me, and some Gok Wan bollocks

****ers. That's what they are. Only channel to charge licensing fees, and then put jack shit on their pathetic channel. Bunch of right wing jobs too, if subtle about it.
I just use iplayer if I want to watch something, usually the comedy roadshows.
#6
I don't watch it but I occasionally give their website a visit for news.

They weren't always so subtle.

At one point they were so right wing it was like 1984 was kicking in.

Hell ya. BBC does some of the best quality news and documentary programmes in the world. I also like a lot of their comedy stuff, oh, and doctor who.

I ain't no farner. You're the farner.

A lot of people in America watch BBC programs, by the way. A lot of us are big fans of Monty Python and Mr. Bean. And the nerds all love Dr. Who.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

it was basically the only station on my tv when I had cable.

Now I can't watch pointless hours of top gear when I can't sleep

I watched Torchwood, but now that Starz is technically the senior partner for that show I guess not.

I'm in America, and I was wondering if anyone in the UK watched BBC. Top Gear is really popular here. Not the lame American version, the real one. And I like when they have star trek re-runs.

I'm an American; I can't be a foreigner.

But yes, people here watch BBC stuff.

You were wondering if British people watched the BBC?
#27
I sometimes do. They have BBC America, I don't know if that means that it's just BBC in America, or an Americanised BBC.
#28
I love BBC America.

I watch Top Gear all the time. I watch Dr. Who occasionally. I also love anything with Gordon Ramsey.

It'll be BBC in America, Americanised BBC wouldn't make sense with it being British Broadcasting Company and everything

Yup watch it from time to time. The channel doesn't have subtitles though so I have to pay a lot of attention to really follow it.
