You either connect the guitar directly into the amp input (no interface), or:

Guitar -> interface instrument input -> computer USB port.

You can't use the interface to connect the guitar to the amplifier... The interface is designed to connect a guitar to a computer.

you dont NEED to use the amp for guitar rig, it simulates the whole sound

plug the behringer usb thing into the pc but im not sure it has it's own driver so you might need to use asio4all ?

Unless you're amp has a DI jack I don't think it will work.

If you're wanting to use Amplitude then why do you want to connect your amp?

Why would you spend tens of thousands of dollars to learn about a language you already speak? It was over before it even started dude

This belongs in Recordings section really, but anyway - much of the important stuff has been covered. Nonetheless...

No sound is happening because the interface is supposed to go between the computer and an analogue audio signal. If you plug the guitar into the interface, then you need to use an amp sim on the computer to get a sound for recording etc. What you've done is essentially hook your amp up as a powered speaker(s), with no actual output reaching them because you aren't using the interface's input signal.

Either go direct (ditch the amp, and use amp sims - many good (often free) ones exist that wipe the floor with GR and Amplitube tonally) or mic the amp up - but as I imagine your amp is far from great sounding there is little point miking it up, not to mention you'd need a decent mic and to learn about basic principles of acoustics and positioning a mic.
Hey, look. Sigs are back.
