Hey guys, getting rid of a couple of guitars soon and I may have £400/£500/£600 to spend on a nice new guitar. Problem is Bloodstock Open Air isn't too far away! and some of my money (£100/£150) will be going on that so I can eat. Seeing as last year I was living of cereal bars and processed cheese from Lidl

But yeah, I'm still contemplating what to buy because I think in one of my bank accounts I've got over £300 saved. so that's around £700 if I can take it out and that could get me a lot of guitar. Seeing as I've been stuck with either beginners guitars or stuff which I've bought and then sold on and I'm wanting a guitar which I can love and cherish for the years to come and eventually maybe give it to my kids as a parting gift or something and play a few gigs with.

So yeah, I'm after a guitar which I'm not going to look at possibly in a few years and think. Why the hell did I buy it (like a Dean Razorback or something stupidly shaped)

Not too keen on Ibanez anymore. They're great guitars but I feel like when I play one there's something lacking in them. I was thinking about something like a Dean Caddilac, Fender Strat or a Les Paul of some sort.

I'm currently playing a Jackson RR3 and I love the neck on it, is there anything which has a neck like an RR3 but with a body of say a Les Paul or an actual V shape and not a rhoads (SP?)?

I'm willing to go used or new, new would be better. But i'm ok with either.

If i suggested them, it's because they fit your budget... Or else i wouldn't suggest them, don't you think?

Come on, is it so hard to find out for yourself?

I'd suggest getting an SE Tremonti used and getting a set of the PRS Tremonti pickups, they're excellent.
