Hey guys,

Let say a guitar has only a volume control and no tone controls (like the Ibanez STM-2). How's the tone of the pickup then? It's like it was on 0, 5, 10... ?

The more your roll the tone knob down, the less highs/mid-highs you have in your sound.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

I know, but I asked what happens if you have NO tone control.

it's like it's on 11
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

It's like a tone control on 11. A tone control on 10 still bleeds a little signal to ground. Fender makes a no-load pot with a click at the end of the range to take it out of the circuit completely.

Edit: Dammit, Dave!

Then it's always using the mid-high/high pickup output as if your tone knob was at 10, and SHIT everyone, literally, beat me to it.
