Can you guys recommend some shred guitar stuff that doesn't go 2308235 nps all the time? Something like for the love of god by steve vai and intermezzo liberte by arch enemy. I need to make a compilation of those. Not Santana though haha.

How was Confucius death metal?
You've clearly never read any Confuscius.

As I wait on the edge of the earth,
I can see the walls being torn down again
Only to be rebuilt in another name,
On a different day

I would definitely suggest some Joe Satriani. His ballads in particular are probably what you're looking for. Try "Always With Me, Always With You" and "Cryin'".

The wind moves slowly to the north
And the flowers die
Rain falls in my dreams

Guthrie Govan, Shawn Lane or Andy Timmons.

I am only new to Timmons (hence the new signature), the dude is amazing! Plays with incredible feel.
