Don't Ignore Me Now

Can you please tell me where to go from here?
Cause I seem to have lost my way to your heart.
I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere
This roads been nothing but long, cold, and dark

Are you going to help me?
Are you even listening?

Don't ignore me now
Not when I need you here the most
We broke apart somehow
It can't be like this no more.

you seem to know exactly how I feel
So why can't you just open up to me
I'm not playing games I'm being real
But you make me feel like I'm nobody

Can you even hear me?
Are you even listening?

It was a pleasant listen. I enjoyed it. I think this would sound very nice with some backing drums too. Your vocals were generally nice, but when you hit the higher notes it seemed like you were forcing it a bit. Try using your stomach a bit more to hit those notes, as they need a bit of power.

The solo rocked.

Good job.

not bad, uve got tht very typical metal-ish type of voice tht alot of ppl go for, u do it well. i agree with the high notes tho, i feel like maybe theyre to high for u and ur just straining to hit them, not a bad tho. it needs more tho, it got old after awhile u got a good song but now put some more layers in it and make it more interesting (add bass, a lead, drums, harmonies ect) solo was nice at the end. very good

guitar part was very cool.
lyrics are kind of cheesy in my opinion.
some of the notes for the vocals sound a little off.
I think if you have it pick up after the first chorus and have drums come in, it'll sound great.
The solo is nice, but i feel like the song needs a bigger pickup to come before that, and have it build up to the solo. Once you start really hitting it during the solo it sounds really weird because the rhythm guitar is still so dull in the background.

C4C please?

You have a similar problem to me in that you lose something in the higher vocal register. It's a fight because you either have to sound weak to keep a similar tone or strain the hell out of it and sound either inappropriately powerful or whiny.

From a recording perspective, the guitars sound a bit unpolished. The solo needs to be a bit louder and the really shine, because it sounds a little unfocused. Play with the EQ and finesse it, because I haven't got a specific suggestion for it at the moment.

Also the rhythm seemed a bit too washed out. You could tighten it with a little low-mid EQ and a small treble boost around where the strumming click is located.

i recorded these vocals very quietly by the way. this is not my full power being used here. The straining has more to do with me not having enough air for the notes.
