Well thinking of selling my devill and hd and getting a Marshall. Any thought? We play 8Os stuff. Classic rock. Classic metal. What do youthink. If I did do this what other Pedals would I need or would the Marshall dothe job. 1000.00 wOuld be budgetB

have you tried running your pod hd500 into your deville's "poweramp in" and then using some of the marshall amp models? try it. and experiment with turning the cab models off. and try using the preamp models instead of the full amp models. try the park 75 and jcm800

It sounds different because you're bypassing the part of the Deville that colours your sound.
