I found this string set on Guitar Center's website.

http://www.guitarcenter.com/D-Addario-XL155-Jerry-Jones-XL-Electric-Guitar-Bass-Strings-100089036-i1122144.gc

Am I just reading wrong, or is it actually possible to put guitar strings on bass or the other way around? I was told that bass strings have a big ball end that can't fit through a guitar's bridge. But idk, what do you guys think?

possibly something like fender's bass six?

as for use on any guitar, id imagine it would be tough to fit the bass strings thru the bridge/tuners without taking a drill to the holes....

Its just their way of marketing the pack of strings. Strings are strings are strings..
this pack is just an extremely heavy gauge for guitar and would only be used on a guitar with a very long scale (such as a bass scale) or a long scale baritone guitar.
