on my floyd rose the third string is sticking out further than all the other strings.

sticking out away from the body of the guitar,

how to i allign it with the other strings thanks!

Either the saddle needs to be lowered for that string or the nut slot for that string isn't cut even with the others - you should be able to look and tell which it is.

I'd be nervous telling you on an original floyd rose bridge - you may have to do some googling there.

You can't just lower it without sanding/filing the saddle down.

iirc, a floyd ues different height saddle to account for the neck radius, so you may check that the saddles are in the right position. I'm not sure, but maybe the 3rd string and 4th string saddles are switched.

Edit: check to see if there's a shim under that saddle. Sometimes they are used to fix an incorrect radius.
