Is aeolian pronounced "eelion", "alien", "oolian", "olion" or "aa-eelian"?

Also, is the ionian mode pronounced "Eyeonion" or "Eeonion"?

And is the locrian mode pronounced "lockrian" or "lowcrian"?

Technically, "aeolian" should be pronounced "ee-oh-lee-an" like "aeon", but it's Greek so it may very well be "ay-oh-lee-an".

Locrian is "loc-ree-an"

EDIT: Actually no it isn't, I just looked it up and it's "low-cree-an". Shows how much I know (then again I'm not Greek).

I'm pretty sure its "A-oh-lee-an" (A pronounced as in the "A" in the word "hay", "low-cree-an", and "eye-oh-lee-an".

I've always pronounced it: Eye-own-ee-an, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, this should be it.

Aeolian and Ionian are iambic; Locrian is trochaic.
